This page explains how users of the RacesForAll mobile app can request
deletion of their account and associated personal data. You can delete your account
directly in the app — no web form is required.
How to request account deletion (in the app)
- Open the RacesForAll app on your phone.
- Sign in with your registered mobile number.
- Go to Profile (bottom navigation).
- Tap Delete account.
- Read the warnings (including active tickets and the no-refund policy, if shown).
- Confirm Request account deletion.
Organizer accounts: use the same flow from Organizer Profile →
Delete account. Deletion may be blocked if you have events submitted
for admin review or active/upcoming published events.
What happens after you request deletion
- Your account enters Pending deletion for 30 days.
- During those 30 days you can browse the app but cannot book tickets or create events.
- You may tap Restore my account on Profile within 30 days to cancel the request.
- After 30 days, our team permanently deletes your account profile (admin processing).
Data that is deleted or anonymized
After permanent deletion, we remove or anonymize:
- Name, email, and phone number in your profile
- Profile photo
- Driving and racing licence details stored in your profile
- Organizer company, KYC, and bank details (if you were an organizer)
Data that may be kept
For legal, payment, and fraud-prevention reasons we may retain:
- Ticket purchase records and payment references (e.g. Razorpay payment IDs)
- Event participation history linked to your user ID
- Hashed identity backup (phone/email hash only — not your raw phone or email) to prevent abuse when the same person registers again
- Activity and audit logs required for compliance
Retention period
- 30 days — recovery window after you request deletion in the app
- After 30 days + admin purge — profile data is anonymized; retained records are kept only as long as needed for law, payments, and security
If you cannot access the app
Email info@racesforall.com from your registered
email with the subject Account deletion request and include your
registered mobile number. We will verify your identity and process the request.
Re-registration after deletion
If you sign up again with the same phone number after your account was permanently
deleted, access may be restricted if your previous account was suspended or blocked.
An admin review may be required before booking or creating events again.
